It's not a blog, it's a feature

Yesterday it was ice-hockey and men time. My brother Jakob, my father and I were attending the Austrian Hockey League game between The Red Bulls Salzburg and the VSV.

It was my first ice-hockey game and it was terrific:

We had great seats and the game was thrilling. In the first period of the game Villach takes the lead with two very fast goals, but in the second part of the game Salzburg was fighting back and equalizing the game with 2:2 - but managed to maintain a Short-handed Goal. So in the third period our team had to even out the game once again - what really happenend and with strong offensive play they took the lead for the first time 4:3. At the end of the game VSV was hazarding by taking the goalkeeper out for one player more and the unbelievable happenend - 20 seconds before the end the puck flounced in the net - OVERTIME. In the two minutes of the overtime there were chances on both sides but the VSV had the better end and they won the game with 5:4.

I was loving it and I'm hoping to be able to watch an ice hockey game again soon - but now with the better end for our team.

This weekend I was sitting in front of my computer and working really hard to finish my program - but there was a ray of hope: the football season in Germany started again after the winter break.

I liked to read the Liveticker beside the work, but this weekend I found a great replacement, instead of clicking and reading - a live Stream from Bayern 1.
At my parents place in Perwang I really enjoyed to listen to this radio station on every Saturday afternoon allied with my father and my brother - but in Salzburg I'm not able to receive it.
Now, with this live stream, I'm enabled to listen to this fine sport reportation with the fanatical reporters - at home we call it "Cabaret".

This weekend there were really thrilling matches and my team Borussia Moenchengladbach won - my football heart is happy and I'm waiting for the next Saturday ...
