On monday, our meeting-day in the PCCP, I tried to configure our server for a few programs to be able to access the Internet over Proxy and Firewall.
It was confusing and after about an hour, the result was a mess - no computer had access to the Internet any longer ... I needed the help of Max and many tries to re-establish the former configuration, but my changes were not working.
Conclusion: I decided to leave the work with this server to people who know to handle it, like HPK and to move back to my favourites: Proxy Server: Janaserver and Firewall ZoneAlarm. Best security solution is still to work with Linux, but I need Windows for a few things!
