Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game

I've got a new weakness for spending my money in trading cards beside Magic the Gathering - I like to play the new Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game very much.

So I bought a few boosters and enjoy this amusing game: to play with my favourite characters from the book and the movies, the strong community with many friendly players and the possibility to play online with many different people.

But my deck has to become better and better! As a result I'm testing and building ...

Fascinated by the brilliance of Memento

On friday I watched my newest DVD: Memento. My expectations were huge: all the critics were praising this thriller.
The promises were not too much: Christopher Nolan made a exciting, smart movie - the idea of reversing the chronology leads to tension every scene.
Watch it and enjoy the uncertainty of Leonard Shelby: Memento

I'm the PCCP Pes4-Champ!

This was the time for my triumph and I needed it after the Magic-the-Gathering desaster.

It was a terrific tournament with really close games in the final round and I won once in overtime and once by the help of penalty shoot-out.

Maybe worse times will come again when Mugsy takes part at my titleholding.

Charlie Chaplin in "The Great Dictator"

Yesterday, late in the evening, I watched one of Charlie Chaplins masterpieces - The Great Dictator.

It is fascinating how Charlie Chaplin analyzes and critizes Hitler-German with his Dictator Hynkel by making the audience laughing.
I think you have to watch this movie many times to find all hints and brilliancy, like the speeches of Hynkel and the people around him.
My favourite scene is the meeting with Benzini Napaloni (Dictator of Bacteria).

I think this old movie (from 1940) shows a really important part of our history and is really important to be watched!

Becoming more and more freaky in the Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game I have joined a guild called Die Erben der Numenor.
I really enjoy to talk and play with them - current I'm trying to win the tournament.
